Position: Head of Studenterhus Odense and Generator Festival // Board Member at MXD, We Celebrate Odense, formerly Autor, among others // Singer and Songwriter
Experience: Extensive experience as a Secretariat Manager, Board Chair, and Board Member, as well as a musician, songwriter, event organizer, fundraiser, and grant committee member. Holds a Master’s degree in English (Cand.mag.) and a Diploma in Leadership.
Role at ROSA: Brings expertise in leadership, musician experience, and event planning and execution. Strengths include idea generation, workshops, Garuda personality profiles, fundraising, visual identity, and more.
Marianne van Toornburg

Position: Singer // Songwriter
​
Experience: Released two solo albums under own name. Performs with Beatfortælling and Jodeladies. Former Vice Chair/Board Member of the Danish Artists’ Union (Dansk Artist Forbund). Previously served on the Project Support Committee and Representative Board of the Danish Arts Foundation (Statens Kunstfond) and Copenhagen Municipality’s Music Committee.

Role at ROSA: Brings extensive experience in both the music industry and cultural and professional policy. Aims to contribute to shaping ROSA’s vision and creating impactful initiatives for Danish music.
Dennis Ahlgren
Designation Period: 1st of August, 2024 – 1st of August, 2028
Position: Musician // Composer // Producer // MD
Experience: Extensive career as a musician, producer, composer, teacher, and MD. Originated from Kucheza and educated at the Royal Academy of Music (DJM). Has toured and produced internationally for 25 years, composed music for theater and film, and learned from the best in the field.
Role at ROSA: With one foot in the Aarhus music scene and the other in a high-level international career—always rooted in the DIY ethos—I am eager to contribute practical experience and problem-solving expertise.
Egil Bjørnsen
Designation Period: 28th of September 2022 – 28th of September 2026

Position: Head of Rytmisk Center
Experience: Currently Head of Rytmisk Center and the Development Platform for Performing Arts. Former researcher and lecturer in cultural policy and cultural management, with a focus on audience development and marketing, in the UK and Norway.
Role at ROSA: Brings extensive knowledge of cultural policy and management of independent cultural institutions. Possesses insight into the representativeness of cultural actors and their responsibility to reflect societal diversity. Strong advocate for ensuring favorable working conditions for music, which holds great significance for many.
Eva Rehling
Designation Period: 28th of September 2022 – 28th of September 2026

Position: Board Member
Experience: Extensive leadership experience across various organizations in culture and music, including Director of Jazzhus Montmartre, Head of Amager Bio & BETA, Børnekulturhus Ama’r, and Kulturhuset Islands Brygge. Board member of Dansk Live and member of Copenhagen Municipality’s Music Committee for venues and organizers, appointed by Dansk Live members. Voluntary advisor for the record label Giant Birch.
Role at ROSA: Provides expertise on the conditions and opportunities for music venues, combined with board experience and a strategic yet practical perspective. Focused on developing and securing the musical ecosystem in the post-COVID era, addressing the significant changes at multiple levels. Prioritizes fostering a sustainable music industry, with emphasis on diversity, inclusion, accessibility, mental and physical well-being, and economic sustainability.
Agnes Fogh Schmidt
Designation Period: 1st of August 2024 – 1st of August 2028

Position: Singer // Songwriter
Experience: Released debut EP ‘Intet forsvinder’ under the artist name Agnes Ea in 2024. Holds a BA in Music Performance from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory Copenhagen (2021–2024). Former lead singer of the band Pablos. Served on the board at RMC (2023–2024) and as Chair of the Students' Council.
Role at ROSA: Brings insight into the emerging music scene and a passion for fostering equal opportunities for everyone in the industry.

John Fogde

Position: Consultant at Kultur & Udvikling, Viborg Kommune
Experience: Holds a Master’s degree in Information and Media Studies. Worked as News Editor, Journalist, and Editorial Member at GAFFA (2005–2011). Served as Public Relations Manager at Down the Drain Group (2011–2019), acting as Press Officer, Spokesperson, and Booker for the festivals NorthSide and Tinderbox. Initiated Music City Aarhus 2022. Led Lydens By (2021–2023) with responsibilities in city branding, event communication, networking, and marketing.
Role at ROSA: Brings over 25 years of experience in music journalism and communication. Has worked on emerging talent projects across various contexts and has extensive experience with events in both commercial and municipal settings. Offers a passion for and curiosity about new music, along with expertise in branding, storytelling, concept development, and the Danish live music industry.
